Netiquette
These rules are intended to ensure respectful interaction between participants. If you observe these rules, you also increase the chance that your contributions will be read and supported by your fellow citizens.
- Show respect for the other participants and make sure you use a polite tone. Avoid insults, accusations and verbal abuse. These have no place in an objective discussion.
- First read the information provided and the contributions of other users. Perhaps you can agree with an existing opinion and thus save yourself and us work.
- Written language can easily lead to misunderstandings. Choose meaningful headings and give reasons for your suggestions.
- Observe the rules of spelling and grammar.
- Take into account the thematic relevance of the participation and the individual selection categories. We reserve the right to move contributions as part of the moderation process.
- Treat the anonymity granted to you responsibly.
Hard rules
These rules define what behaviour will not be tolerated here. We have no tolerance for these rules, as most of them are legal requirements and the platform is intended to provide a space for respectful exchange and dialogue.
- You must be at least 16 years old to register on this platform.
- You may only register once. It does not matter whether different e-mail addresses are used for registration.
- The pseudonym you choose must not be the name of a real person, otherwise you will be violating their personal rights.
- Do not use the names of real people in your posts and comments. Do not upload any photos that depict other people. Otherwise you are violating their personal rights.
- Links to copyrighted content are not permitted.
- Do not incite violence or criminal offences. Posts containing insults, sexual innuendo, sexist or racist remarks will be deleted immediately.
- Do not post advertising messages or chain letters.
- Copyright: It is perfectly legal to post short extracts from copyrighted works for informational purposes. Anything beyond this is illegal. Works protected by copyright include newspaper articles, song lyrics, programmes, images, etc.
- Please use a current browser to be able to use this site to its full extent.
If your content violates any of these rules or German law, we are forced to delete this content from the system. In such a case, we will inform you of the offence. Repeated violations of the rules may result in exclusion from the system.
